   The physical and spiritual tradition of yoga was established in India more than 5000 years ago. Derived from the Sanskrit word meaning to yoke, yoga is the yoking or the union of the body, mind, and spirit. Balanced Bodyworks strives to provide classes that will harmonize these aspects of yourself, bringing you in touch with the universe. The focus is not on headstands, pretzel-like positions or being very flexible but rather on deep, complete breathing and purposeful, intentional movement. Through various movements and deep, complete breathing, you, too, can participate in this ancient art and philosophy to restore balance in your life.

   Private sessions are available on-site and in-home. These sessions allow for one-on-one guidance and meditation. Please see our FAQ's or Pricing page for more information.
